This amazing project connects between the international students of EMIS and YOCOPAS and asylum seekers in Italy in a cross-border collaboration of creativity and compassion.  Students at EMIS have decided to help promote the work of a group of young refugees now living in Italy, where they used the art of crochet to create beautiful teddy bears.  The bears, each one unique and colorful, are intended to spread a message of hope to refugee children around the world and encourage them to study. The students of EMIS will help in delivering these wonderful teddy bears to underprivileged and asylum-seeking children all over the world. The project was even reported in an Italian newspaper!
