At first, coming to EMIS felt overwhelming. I had previously studied in a British school under the Cambridge system, so adjusting to a new learning environment and different subjects was quite challenging. Moving to another country and adapting to a completely new school was not easy. However, thanks to my friends and the people around me here, the transition became much smoother. Everyone at EMIS is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. It truly feels like a supportive community.

For me, the best thing about EMIS is knowing that I’m in a place where I’m accepted no matter where I come from. That’s when you realize this isn’t an ordinary school. At EMIS, you feel like you can actually go beyond what you thought was possible and really achieve your dreams and goals.

EMIS is more than a school; it unites minds, cultures, and communities, creating an environment where you are truly you and growth is a part of your day. EMIS has challenged me in the best ways possible, and I’m grateful for that!

I came to EMIS expecting to earn my IB diploma and move on, thinking it would be just another school in my life. But already in my first year, I realized how wrong I was and discovered much more than I ever imagined. I became deeply involved in campus life: CAS projects, Student Council, beach cleanups, and so many activities that filled my days. Even when academics were challenging, with new subjects and developing English, the culture and community made me want to stay on campus even during weekends.
