“Welcome” is the word you will hear most at EMIS. We will be delighted to answer any of your questions and guide you through the application process. Our application is entirely online. Click on the buttons above whether you want to apply for a place, or if you are simply interested in finding out more information. We are always here to help if you have any questions or would like to arrange an online chat please click here http://calendly.com/meetemis.

As a boarding school, we know that all children are different and would ideally like to meet you and your child, allow you to experience the school and get to know you all so that we fully understand your needs. However, we have students from over 40 countries already studying with us, so we know that it isn’t always easy to come and visit the school. This is why we have created a process where you can find out everything you need to know about the school from our website.

2022 Dance Performance

Every year, we invite all to the EMIS Annual Dance Performance, where our students from all over the world join their creativity and rhythm to create a unique performance. Annually, a new theme surrounds the dances.

Dance As You Are, the 2021-22 dance program theme offers the viewer and the dancer to consider the variety of people, cultures, and personas as individuals, and in dance, creations to see the common ground we all stand on as humans and as creative creatures.

Dance As You Are invites you to provoke movement, the common base we share.

Dance Trips

Dance trips are an opportunity for students to learn from incredible examples of those constructing dance history now and visit expositions of how this beautiful art form has been expressed over the years.

Our latest trip included gallery tours led by Sahar Azimi and an exclusive tour at the visitor center under Kedumim Square (the first tour held there for two and a half years!). The students also went to a yoga class with Amir Rapaport in a gallery space in the Noga complex.

We ended the day at Pearls 1 – a location that hosts fashion productions, offsets, conferences, and high-tech, where we met photographer Dean Avishar who talked to students about his photography. The objective of this trip was for students to have local connections with the multiple forms of expression surrounding them, and get to know artists and local places. At the end of the activity, the students were provided information on how to come back to all the visited places by themselves. An authentic experience.

Here is a video capturing segments of these movements like a blinking eye or flashing camera. Just like in these situations, there is so much more happening that what can be seen with a naked eye. Join the EMIS Dance department and become like us, become a Mover and become a Human Of Motion.
